This hotel was let down by it's basic bedroom. Not what I was expecting from this type of hotel. I realise it's hard to change fixtures and fittings but some decent toilet roll, tissues, bath robes and a vanity mirror would have gone a long way to improve it. However the rest of the hotel was lovely with great views across lakes and golf courses. All staff from cleaners to restaurant staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The food in the restaurant was really good for breakfast and dinner. Nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool, steam room and sauna were also enjoyable.

I booked a spa break for me and my partner through there offer page on the website. The room was amazing, much bigger than we anticipated! The spa was also a lovely add on and I managed to book us some treatments as well . We had dinner and breakfast included in our stay, the food was so yummy and they had a good selection on cocktails . The only downside was how hard the bed was, neither of us had a good night's sleep which was a shame but overall we had a fantastic time!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our night away here on Friday as a treat for my birthday. Our room was spacious and clean. Staff were are all very welcoming, particularly in the restaurant in the evening. The food and service were also incredible. Felt very special. I even had a sweet treat with a candle brought out to me after dinner for my birthday which was a really lovely touch and much appreciated. Spa facilities are very good. My daughter who is 11 loved the pool and was made to feel very welcome at the hotel. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone thinking about booking. Thank you

Went for my wife's birthday spa package which included lunch, spa access, 55 min treatment, hotel stay and breakfast. Very good value for the package and the receptionist even directed me to the best value package for what I wanted. Spa is excellent with the package you get a dedicated table all day for your lunch and drinks, dedicated loungers too. Made my wife feel really special for her birthday. Great pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam facilities although in the mens changing rooms many lockers and the swim gear drying machine are out of order. Massage was disappointing as was too gentle, felt like a gentle stroke not a firm massage. But good treatment room facilities. Hotel rooms are big with good showers and beds. Comfy bar with log fire to keep you warm. Breakfast is a well stocked buffet also tasty. Service from all staff was excellent and really friendly. Men's bathroom in the bar needs repairing, one toilet cubicle out of order and the other one has two big holes in the door where someone has booted it. Overall a really good spa and hotel stay experience.

We werr at Stoke by Nayland Resort for a weekend ladies festival. Have to say, what a fantastic venue. The rooms, although a little dated, are roomly with a very comfortable bed. The staff, especially at Reception and the Bar staff were amazing, they were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The spa is well worth a visit. It was a shame that we couldn't play golf, as it was the Captains drive in, both courses look very picturesque and in excellent condition.

Our happy place, this has to be one of the best places to come and relax, we've made it our mission to come every 6 weeks, all of the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and we love chatting to each and every one of them, but, if you are lucky enough to be served by Hugo in the Lakes Restaurant then you are in for a treat, what an absolute Gent he is. Food is really really good very tasty always hot and served well, shame the rack of ribs have dropped off the menu, they were something else, had a burger this time around and that was lovely but the ribs were definitely my go to! Breakfast, fantastic, great choice hot food constantly being replenished, ask for the poached eggs they are divine. Rooms we've stayed in the Club and the Golf Double both great rooms, very comfortable and above all peaceful. We've not opted for the junior suite as yet (happy to try one on a freebie upgrade lol) Everything here is geared up to make you feel relaxed and unhurried, the grounds are utterly charming and well kept, we checked out on the 05th Jan from our last visit and immediately rebooked for February making use of the cracking Month of Love offer, in fact we've booked two rooms as we are bringing family with us so they can experience this wonderful place....see you all in few weeks Very best Roy and Rachel

Super impressed with my Spa Day today. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the treatments were exceptionally good and it felt like a really relaxing day. Having a reserved lounger was great and the place wasn’t too busy which meant you could use all the facilities when you wanted. Thank you I will be back!

Would highly recommend a stay here, amply car park. Inside you can enjoy a chill drink/coffee in one of the many spaces with extremely comfortable sofas, the restaurant food was the best we have had somewhere in a long time, breakfast was also perfect. Me & my husband both commented on how well the staff were to check you happy. The room was one of the lower priced but was again perfect. We used the pool and hot tub but not the gym. We are already planning to go back in February.
